Visioni metropolitane offre uno scenario delle metamorfosi nelle quali siamo immersi, come esseri viventi e come individui umani. Il cambiamento che racconta è quello urbano, in una visione di metropoli in cui coesistono foreste, tecnologie, mari, monti. Una visione che accoglie tutte le specie viventi, senza distinzioni né discriminazioni, una visione fantastica in cui la metamorfosi approda ad una metropoli ecologica e sostenibile.
In questo scenario convivono distopie ed utopie: punti di vista che si confondono, transitando nella deformazione, considerata come una forma nuova, senza il pregiudizio di uno sguardo stereotipato che etichetta secondo il concetto di distorsione. Forme nuove e diverse si affiancano a quelle conosciute, costruendo nuovi significati.
